Penny Lou Cottage is located on Bowen Island, known in Squamish as Nex̱wlélex̱wm which lies in the traditional territory of the Squamish Nation and has been a site of transformation since time immemorial. In honour of this site, we hope that the Cottage will help serve and nourish the world through the transformative power of art.
How to get to Bowen Island
Bowen Island is accessed via a BC Ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Snug Cove. The Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal is located in West Vancouver, BC and is accessible by public transit from the Vancouver International Airport via skytrain and bus in a 1 1/2 to 2 hour journey. The ferry to Bowen is approximately 15 minutes. Please see The Cottage page for further information about getting around Bowen.
